PlayStation-exclusive Gravity Rush 2 performs even better on PC - emulator modification shadPS4 released

Thanks to the shadPS4 emulator, PC gamers have gained access not only to Bloodborne but also to many other games from the PlayStation library. Among them is Gravity Rush 2, which initially did not perform very well. However, the modding community stepped in.

Recently, developer Rude-Act8901 announced the release of an improved modification "GR2fork V2.0" — it is designed to fix various issues with Gravity Rush 2, as well as add new features.

Some changes and improvements:

• Added a "Loading shaders" screen with the Gravity Rush 2 font so users can understand whether the game has frozen or shaders are loading
• Implemented fixes that improve the correctness of the shader cache — now it should work faster and more stably
• Added several hotfixes that eliminate errors leading to crashes
• Fixed a hidden bug that caused textures and effects to disappear over time
• Added support for ultrawide monitors with aspect ratios of 32:9, 21:9, and 16:10
• Various performance improvements
• Added a version with AVX512 support for processors that support it (can speed up memmove operations), as well as a version for ZEN4 on Linux

At the center of the Gravity Rush 2 story is a girl named Kat, who can control gravity. She uses her abilities to fight threats and also performs errands for local residents.
