Nintendo moderation approved a Dead Space and Gears of War hybrid for Switch 2 in the eShop
The moderation system can surprise not only in the PlayStation Store. Strange projects sometimes appear on the Nintendo platform as well.
Recently, a specific project that is going to be released on Nintendo Switch 2 attracted the attention of gamers. It combines elements of two franchises, Dead Space and Gears of War, and the developers played on this in the title "Dead Gears - Space of War".
According to the description, the story centers on Captain Darius Vex, commander of an elite squad. He is sent to deal with a certain threat on a remote colony, but the mission "quickly turns into a struggle for survival".
The developers promise variability in gameplay:
You can move in the shadows, disable enemy systems and avoid detection, or engage in direct combat using advanced energy weapons designed for intense encounters. Each approach changes your experience on the battlefield, forcing you to constantly adapt. At the heart of your abilities is a powerful energy management system. You absorb and redirect energy to activate devices, neutralize threats, create protective shields, or unleash powerful pulses that can turn the tide of battle. Energy management becomes as important as aiming and movement.
Screenshots make it clear that the quality of Dead Gears - Space of War is very questionable. Players do not understand why Nintendo's moderation allowed such a thing to pass. If nothing changes, the game will be released on May 29.

This is far from the first time gamers have had questions about the moderation system of the Nintendo digital store. Similar complaints are also made about the Playstation Store — Sony sometimes reviews the catalog and removes "junk" games.
