"Harry Potter" meets Stardew Valley: the role-playing game Songs of Glimmerwick has been released
The creators of Eastshade invite you to spend an academic year at a magic university.
Songs of Glimmerwick, a role-playing game about studying at a magic university from the creators of Eastshade, has been released on Steam.
The action takes place in a forest fantasy world where spells are cast using music. The main character enrolls in the local university and spends a whole academic year there: attending classes, making friends, joining clubs, and gradually unraveling local mysteries.
In their free time, players can explore the island, garden, fish, play in a musical band, and go on forest expeditions. By mastering ancient songs, the hero learns to talk to trees, enchant instruments, summon rain, and change the landscape to reach new places. As the game progresses, skills for gardening and trading are unlocked, as well as more unusual abilities like communicating with frogs.
A free demo is available on Steam, and until October 14, the full version can be purchased with a 10% discount.
