10 years ago, Naughty Dog changed the industry: Uncharted 4's anniversary

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End turned 10 years old. Nathan Drake's final adventure was released on May 10, 2016, and is still considered one of the most important games for PlayStation.

Naughty Dog's project not only became one of the main PS4 exclusives but also set a new quality standard for story-driven blockbusters in the gaming industry.

Theoretically, without the Uncharted trilogy, the PS3 console could have lost the fight against the Xbox 360, and the fourth installment proved that games can look and feel like major Hollywood movies. Even many modern AAA releases are inferior to Naughty Dog's project in terms of staging and scale.

In Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Nathan Drake met his brother Sam for the first time. Over 10 years, the game has gathered about 20 million players — several years ago, 18 million copies were reported. The project's average rating remains at 93%, although the final score was significantly lowered by a Washington Post review with 4 out of 10 points.

With the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, players once again received a large-scale adventure that at least partially managed to approach the level of spectacle of Uncharted 4.
