Science SARU revealed the premiere date of "Ghost in the Shell" - a new trailer was shown

The creators of the anime "Ghost in the Shell" have shown a new trailer and confirmed the premiere date. The series will launch worldwide on July 7, 2026, and will be available on several streaming platforms simultaneously. Viewers from Russia will be able to see the new incarnation of Motoko Kusanagi on Kinopoisk, while international audiences can watch it on Prime Video.

The production is handled by Science SARU studio, known for "Dandadan", "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off", and several episodes of "Star Wars: Visions". For director Toma Kimura, working under the pseudonym Moko-chan, this is his full-fledged directorial debut. Previously, he was an assistant director on "Dandadan".

The script and composition are supervised by Toh EnJoe, who worked on "Godzilla Singular Point". Character design and animation direction are handled by Shuhei Handa, who previously worked on "Scott Pilgrim". The music for the series is written by Taisei Iwasaki, Ryo Konishi, and Yuki Kanesaka.
