Authors of the soulslike Lies of P are looking for a generative AI specialist to work on their next game

Studio Round8, known for Lies of P, found itself at the center of discussions after a new job vacancy appeared, hinting at the active use of generative AI in the development of the next game in the series. While the team is completing work on the sequel after the release of a major expansion, fans noticed an announcement for a specialist position as an "AI Creator".

According to the job description, the future employee will need to "use generative AI technologies to maximize the efficiency of artistic production and improve the visual quality of games." Responsibilities include creating concept art for characters and environments, as well as working with AI tools for texturing, modeling, and asset generation through "image-to-3D" technologies.

The studio itself states that they are looking for specialists capable of combining "artists' creativity with AI's productivity" to create a new workflow.
