Sony Interactive Entertainment highly praised the pace of work and approach of Chinese and South Korean game studios, comparing them to Western and Japanese developers. This was stated in an interview with The Game Business by Christian Svensson, Vice President of Third-Party Studios and Strategic Initiatives.

According to Svensson, the speed at which teams from China and South Korea work is "astonishing." He noted that the scale of projects and the efficiency of these studios significantly stand out compared to many Western and even Japanese developers.

The Sony representative emphasized that the company receives content from Asian studios that is noticeably different from what has previously been released on the PlayStation platform. In his opinion, this is due to the unique dynamics of industry development in China and South Korea, where teams actively compete with each other and quickly adapt to new trends.

Svensson also drew attention to the evolution of local studios and their rapid growth. He finds it particularly interesting to observe how trends and directions of development in the Chinese and Korean gaming community are changing compared to Western developers.
