The company's behavior was called "extremely disappointing."

Scottish MPs have criticized Rockstar Games over a legal dispute concerning the dismissal of about 30 employees from the company's UK division last October. According to union representatives, the dismissals may have been related to an attempt to suppress union activity.

Rockstar itself claims that the employees were fired for sharing confidential game information on a private Discord server. However, British parliamentarians believe that the company is not cooperating sufficiently with the proceedings.

Labour MPs Chris Murray, Tracey Gilbert, and Dr. Scott Arthur stated that the company failed to provide full information on the case, withheld some evidence, and did not ensure a full appeal process for the dismissed employees.

Chris Murray noted that some of his constituents, after being dismissed, lost not only their income but also their right to remain in the country. According to him, one employee was forced to leave the UK after losing visa sponsorship. The MP urged Rockstar to "conduct the case transparently, cooperate fully with the investigation, and respect employees' right to appeal."

Tracey Gilbert called the company's behavior "extremely disappointing," stating that Rockstar "refused to properly engage with employees, their representatives, and trade unions." She added that workers seeking justice, transparency, and respect "should not be met with silence and closed doors."

Dr. Scott Arthur also reported that one of his constituents is concerned that the company "has not cooperated fully and openly" during the investigation into the situation.
