Choo Choo Games announced that the next pre-order will be the tabletop game "Biom", designed for 1–4 players.
The project is based on the "card engine building" mechanic. Players will place flora and fauna cards on their boards, raise animal offspring, feed them, and protect them from predators.
Each plant and animal provides unique, but one-time abilities. The main feature: seasons change in the game, and with them, the rules of life in the natural zone. What helped in summer might not save you in winter.
The team will release a deluxe version with updated illustrations and meticulously refined rules of the second edition. Additionally, several modular modes will allow adapting the game to any group.
How much "Biom" will cost, how long the release in Russia will take, and when exactly the pre-order will start is, unfortunately, still unknown. The game trailer can be viewed on the Lioness Games YouTube channel.
