Hot Toys to Release Luke Skywalker Figure from "Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire" Comic

Thanks to Hot Toys, "Star Wars" fans who enjoyed the "Shadows of the Empire" comic will be able to add a new 1/6 scale Luke Skywalker figure to their collection.

Back in 1996, "Star Wars" fans embarked on a journey through the Expanded Universe with "Shadows of the Empire" — a massive multimedia project that filled the gap between the films "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".

In the comic series, fans were introduced to a special look for Luke as he continued his Jedi training, searched for Han Solo frozen in carbonite, and confronted the sinister Black Sun crime syndicate.

Today, Hot Toys announced a new 1/6 scale Luke Skywalker figure from "Shadows of the Empire". This exclusive collectible is available in a limited quantity — only 2500 units in select markets. In some places, it can be purchased for 1680 Hong Kong dollars (15,843 rubles).

The set includes a body with 30 points of articulation, a head with movable eyes and the likeness of actor Mark Hamill, interchangeable hands, a cream-yellow vest, a black double-breasted shirt with a stand-up collar, black trousers, microfiber leather-like boots, a black belt with interchangeable pouches and a hilt attachment, and an additional brown belt with a pistol holster.

Also in the box are a DL-18 blaster pistol, two lightsaber hilts (regular and with LED illumination), two interchangeable green blades (classic and with motion effect), a stand with the Star Wars logo and a nameplate.
