Today is a big day for Tolkien fans. LEGO Group and Warner Bros. have announced the "Minas Tirith" set, which will allow fans to build a large-scale model of the capital of Gondor from Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy.
This set, consisting of 8278 pieces, surpasses even the enormous "Millennium Falcon" in size, yielding only to LEGO's "Death Star." Its height and width are approximately 60 cm, and its depth is about 35 cm.
Among the pieces are 10 minifigures, including Aragorn as King Elessar, Arwen, Gandalf the White, Denethor, Pippin, and Faramir, as well as four Gondor soldiers.
The new product includes key locations to explore, such as the citadel and the throne room. The set will go on sale on June 1, 2026, for Lego Insiders members and on June 4, 2026, for the general public.
"Minas Tirith" will be available for $649.99 (47,985 rubles). People who purchase this set between June 1 and June 7 will receive a gift: the Lego Icons "The Lord of the Rings: Grond" battering ram.
The constructor's trailer can be viewed on the Avenue de la brique YouTube channel, and a preview video on the Bricksie YouTube channel.
