Kadokawa Corporation confirmed that The Duskbloods is still planned for a 2026 release, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. The information appeared in the company's latest financial materials.
The Duskbloods was first unveiled during the Nintendo Switch 2 presentation in April 2025. The project is led by Hidetaka Miyazaki, and the game itself is described as a PvPvE action title with online support for up to eight players. According to official information, the action will unfold in a dark world where the "Bloodsworn" fight for "First Blood" against the backdrop of humanity's twilight.
Despite a long absence of new trailers and gameplay demonstrations, Kadokawa has not reported any postponement of the project.
