Forza Horizon 6 on console at 60 FPS. First gameplay in performance mode.
The first gameplay of Forza Horizon 6 in 60 fps mode on Xbox Series X has appeared online. The videos were published by blogger TmarTn2, who received permission from Microsoft to show the game before its release.
Previously, Xbox only showed the 30 fps version. Journalists who had access to the preview build could not enable performance mode — only quality mode with 30 frames per second was available in the settings.
Judging by the first footage, the 60 fps mode looks decent and does not significantly lag behind the previously shown version. Playground Games studio is known for good optimization, and the engine from Forza Horizon 5 still remains one of the most productive.
The author also showed a second video demonstrating garage customization and the player's home territory.
