007 First Light Trailer Shows Young Bond's Mentor
007 First Light has received a new trailer dedicated to the character John Greenway, who will become young James Bond's mentor.
Greenway is played by Lennie James, known for "The Walking Dead." The developers describe the character as a "disciplined professional" who will accompany the future Agent 007 during his training at MI6 and help him "earn his number."
IO Interactive's new game will show the beginning of Bond's career. Instead of an experienced spy, players will be presented with a young and impulsive rookie who is just learning the ropes of British intelligence. Discussions have previously emerged online that the actor who played young Bond would also be suitable for the role of Agent 007 in films.
007 First Light will be released on May 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 is expected in the summer.
