GTA VI is closer to pre-order. A hidden element was found in Rockstar's website code

Technical enthusiasts examined the analytical scripts (GTM) and found a hidden event called "cta_preorder". This tag indicates the preparation of a "Call To Action" button, i.e., a call to pre-order.

While the discovery does not confirm the start of sales today, it clearly shows that the sales system is in the final stages of preparation. Other tracking groups, intended exclusively for the new installment of the series, were also found in the scripts. Rockstar, apparently, is refining analytics and tracking mechanisms so that everything works without a hitch at launch.

The preparation of the infrastructure for conversion tracking indicates that the New York studio aims to be ready for every "Buy Now" click.
