Filming of "Sonic 4 in Cinema" Concludes - Director Shares Photo with Metal Sonic

Paramount has completed filming for "Sonic 4 in Cinema." Director Jeff Fowler announced this by posting a photo with Metal Sonic from the set. According to the director, the team has made "the best Sonic movie," and the project is now moving into post-production.

Paramount is keeping official plot details under wraps for now. Rumor has it that the fourth installment might draw inspiration from Sonic CD and the theme of time travel. This option seems logical given the appearance of Amy Rose and Metal Sonic.

According to unofficial data, Paramount Pictures and SEGA were so pleased with the success of "Sonic 3 in Cinema" that they increased the budget for the fourth film. This could allow the creators to show a larger scale and time travel.

Ben Schwartz is expected to return as the voice of Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, Keanu Reeves as Shadow, and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. Among the newcomers, it is known that Kristen Bell will voice Amy Rose, while the role of Metal Sonic has not yet been revealed.

"Sonic 4 in Cinema" is scheduled to premiere on March 19, 2027.
