CDPR Pleased Russian-Speaking "The Witcher" Fans - Localized Poster Unveiled for The Witcher 2's 15th Anniversary
CD Projekt RED does not forget about Russian-speaking fans of The Witcher franchise.
This year, fans and developers are celebrating the 15th anniversary of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The game was released on May 17, 2011.
On The Witcher franchise's social media account, a message to the community and a special poster were published:
Every story has a beginning and an end, but the middle is where all the interesting stuff happens. Exactly 15 years ago, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was released, and we found ourselves at the heart of a conspiracy. We had to forge alliances, unravel hidden motives, and make decisions that had very serious consequences. Happy anniversary, Witchers!
CD Projekt RED also remembered Russian-speaking fans, and a Russian-language version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings anniversary poster was also published online:
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was the first game in the franchise to be released not only on PC but also on consoles. In this installment, the developers made it so that depending on the player's decisions, the plot would differ dramatically in the second chapter. A large chunk of content would be unavailable, requiring a replay with different decisions to explore everything.
