Russian steampunk fantasy train-city builder simulator released on Steam
Players in Steel Artery: Train City Builder will become the mayor of a city on rails.
The city-building simulator Steel Artery: Train City Builder was recently released on PC on Steam. The developer offers to create not an ordinary "city", but something else.
Players will have to create a train-city in a steampunk fantasy world. Expansion will be carried out through carriages:
Once, the Empire built the legendary Steelpolis – a colossal train that demonstrated the technological might, economic dominance, and power of the Empire. It traveled through vast provinces, maintaining order and collecting tribute. But now the Empire's treasury is empty, its lands are fragmented, and its infrastructure is on the verge of collapse. To save it, the Emperor revives an abandoned project – and you are appointed mayor of this revived city on rails.
Humans, elves, orcs, and other races will coexist in the train-city, bringing unique needs and values. The player acts as the Mayor and provides opportunities, but does not give direct orders – local citizens are autonomous, driven by their needs and choices. For example, a worker may simply refuse to work if it is too far away.
