Recently, all announcements from Ayaneo have been limited to information about prices, availability, and shipping status of various handheld consoles. But thanks to user Retro Gaming With Deadfred, who studied the manuals.plus website, gamers were able to discover a leak in the form of the Ayaneo Pocket Block handheld device.
He managed to find not only schematic drawings of the console and a manual, but also several renders. The images show the inscription Ayaneo Bitwave, so the developers have most likely not yet decided on the final name of the new product.
The manual states that the device runs on Android and is equipped with a special AYA button to call up the AYAWindow menu. The front panel features the familiar ABXY button layout, D-pad, as well as Start and Select. In addition to these, there is the aforementioned AYA button and a button simply labeled "=" located between Start and Select.
On the left side there are two customizable buttons. On the right side of the Pocket Block there are only the power button and volume keys. As for the other controls, the L1/R1 and L2/R2 triggers are located on the back panel in a stepped arrangement (one above the other).
The microSD card slot is located on the left side (below the two customizable buttons). The bottom edge houses the USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speakers.
Particularly observant people also noticed that there is a phrase with a typo on the back of the console. Instead of "Real Gamers Know Gamers", it says "Real Gamers Konw Gamers".
