Valve limited the maximum boost height in CS2 - those exceeding the limit will not be able to shoot normally
Now administrators will be able to limit tactical capabilities.
In May, the developers of the competitive online shooter Counter-Strike 2 introduced an update that includes technical fixes, as well as a new limitation.
The console command "weapon_accuracy_stack_boost_limit" (default value "2") was added to the game — a penalty to shooting accuracy will be applied to players who are at the top of a boost made of the specified or more users. Server administrators will be able to customize this boost limit.
In addition, the creators of Counter-Strike 2:
- Adjusted the transition from AWP draw animation to idle animation;
- Improved the stability of jump throws (grenade throws in a jump) and the accuracy of the trajectory preview camera;
- In "spectator" mode, a visual bug with damage display was fixed; an error was eliminated where x-ray silhouettes could freeze on the screen when changing the observed object.
The full description of the Counter-Strike 2 update is available at the following link.
CS2 maps can also be found in other games — recently, Cyberpunk 2077 modders presented their version and played a match on it in a homemade multiplayer.
