PC gamers calmly reacted to rumors of Sony refusing to release its games on PC
Rumors that Sony is going to abandon releasing its major single-player games on PC caused a stir in the industry. However, PC users themselves reacted to the news unexpectedly calmly.
If the information is confirmed, PC owners may be left without future releases like Ghost of Yotei and Marvel's Wolverine. But on Reddit and social networks, there is almost no mass discontent. Many players directly state that Sony's decision will not make them buy a PlayStation 5.
Instead of irritation, a pragmatic approach prevails among the PC audience. Users note that spending hundreds of dollars on a console for a few exclusives is pointless.
Some players were also disappointed with previous PC ports from PlayStation Studios. The Marvel's Spider-Man series is often recalled in discussions, after which interest in new ports significantly decreased.
At the same time, some users regret that Sony never released Demon's Souls and older Uncharted titles on PC. However, the overall mood of the community remains the same — PC will calmly do without PlayStation support.
