Sony has registered a new trademark for a game called Break In. The registration application was filed on May 20.
While Sony has not officially revealed what exactly is behind the name Break In, initial assumptions have already appeared online. The most popular theory links the project to the game Fairgame$ by Haven Studios. Many believe that the project might need a complete rebranding after a very unsuccessful debut trailer, which was poorly received by the audience.
Earlier reports indicated that the development of Fairgame$ faced problems: during internal tests, the team was allegedly still trying to figure out how to make the gameplay interesting. Journalists noted that the tone and style of the game had noticeably changed compared to the initial announcement, which could indeed explain a possible name change.
