Ares Interactive studio has opened pre-registration for The Walking Dead: Aftermath — a mobile action game under AMC license, inspired by Vampire Survivors. Players will have to survive among endless hordes of walking dead, develop their own camp, and upgrade survivors.
The main characters will be familiar characters from the AMC series "The Walking Dead". Among the available survivors are Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, Glenn, and Maggie. Each character will have their own weapons, abilities, and fighting style.
At the same time, the developers have generously stuffed the game with familiar mobile mechanics and limitations, including gacha monetization and energy, which will not allow playing as much as one would like.
The Walking Dead: Aftermath will be released on iOS and Android. The project is expected to be released on June 18, 2026.
