Pedro Pascal Explained Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Like an "Italian Mom"
Pedro Pascal recalled the preparation for "Avengers: Doctor Doom."
Pedro Pascal spoke about a work meeting with Robert Downey Jr. during preparations for the filming of "Avengers: Doctor Doom." On BBC Radio 2, the actor recalled that they gathered at Downey Jr.'s home for "homework" on the film, and the host constantly tried to feed the guests.
"He likes to feed you like an Italian mom. It's crazy – cookies, everything. If you're around him, he'll definitely try to give you food."
In Marvel, the actors will have a much less domestic encounter. Pascal plays Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, while Downey Jr. returns to the cinematic universe as Doctor Doom. In the comics, the characters have a long history of confrontations, and according to Pascal, they will also have many joint scenes in the upcoming crossover.
"Avengers: Doctor Doom" is set to premiere on December 18, 2026. Marvel will then release "Avengers: Secret Wars," scheduled for December 17, 2027.
