"Ellie's Choice": Russian Fans Create Short Film Sequel to The Last of Us Part II - Debut Teaser Released
While Naughty Dog remains silent about the future of The Last of Us, Russian fans have decided to come up with their own continuation of Ellie's story.
A Russian team of filmmakers and fans, led by Artyom Birdman, author of the "YAZYK KINO" channel, announced the short film "Ellie's Choice." The film is positioned as a direct continuation of the events of The Last of Us Part II.
The plot of the fan film will tell how the recovered "Fireflies" once again track down Ellie. The faction is still obsessed with the idea of using the girl's immunity to cordyceps to create a vaccine. The heroine, trying to find peace after heavy losses, will once again have to choose between her own safety and a fleeting chance to save the remnants of humanity.
The creators have already presented the first atmospheric teaser and launched a crowdfunding campaign on Planeta. To realize the short film, the authors need to raise 1.2 million rubles. At the time of publication, just over 14 thousand rubles have been raised.
