Take-Two recently presented its financial report. The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is expected this year, which will obviously bring the company significant revenue.

During a conversation with investors, one of them asked how the company intends to use the funds generated from GTA VI sales.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick outlined three courses of action: "supporting organic growth" (developing new games / investing in their teams), share buybacks, and "inorganic growth" (acquiring other companies).

Take-Two has already had experience acquiring companies; Zelnick cited Zynga and Gearbox as examples:

I can proudly say that all of our acquisitions over nearly two decades have been creatively and [financially] successful. For corporations, that's quite astonishing – it usually doesn't happen. And I think that's because we operate with extreme discipline. You won't see us making indiscriminate deals, but provided our balance sheet continues to improve, you can expect further inorganic growth in the future.

Earlier, Strauss Zelnick participated in David Senra's podcast. The manager spoke about his approach to work and shared memories of how the decision to rework Borderlands' graphics was made.
