Fabled Game studio has indefinitely postponed the international release of the card roguelike Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage on iOS and Android. The developers admitted that the early access launch on PC was "catastrophic" and announced a complete overhaul of the gameplay.
The authors plan to return to the roots of the first part. Free map exploration will be removed from the game and replaced with classic staged islands with bosses. The developers will also bring back the familiar shield system that blocks damage, add the ability to purposefully remove cards from the deck, and cancel automatic skill evolution. Identical cards can once again be manually combined to create combinations.
There are no exact release dates for the updated Pirates Outlaws 2 yet, but after balancing, the authors plan to conduct new cross-platform testing.
