Marvel is once again losing the battle to the internet. A new featurette for the film "Spider-Man: A New Day" has leaked online, revealing several fresh scenes, including the first shot of a mysterious woman who is said to be the head of the Hand organization.
The video shows extended fragments of an already familiar prison scene where Spider-Man fights against a group of ninjas in red suits. A woman also flashes by, who, according to various versions, could be Elektra, Lady Bullseye, or Mariko Yashida.
The latter option is considered more likely, but this is still only media speculation, not confirmed information. It is possible that the film will introduce a new leader of the Hand.
In addition to dealing with the mystical order, Peter Parker will have to contain a rampaging Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). He will be assisted by the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal, and another rumor is associated with him.
According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, the Punisher in "A New Day" will be a "mad psychopath." This confirms Bernthal's previous statements that Frank Castle's image was not "softened" specifically for the Spider-Man film.
The world premiere of "Spider-Man: A New Day" is scheduled for July 31, 2026.
