In May, Valve returned to Team Fortress 2 and introduced a major technical update. It aims to fix various bugs and critical errors that could lead to game crashes.
As usual, the patch included not only fixes from Valve itself but also some solutions from community members.
Some other changes:
- Fixed a crash related to KeyValues
- Fixed a bug where the eye glow was missing from botkiller weapons ver. 2.0
- Fixed broken textures for some weapon skins
- Fixed errors on several maps, including koth_demolition (Demolition, King of the Hill mode) and cp_process_final (Process, Control Points mode).
On cp_metalworks (Metalworks), the second spawn point for both teams has been reworked — it has been moved back and placed in a larger building in front of the second control point.

This summer, a fan offline event for Team Fortress 2 is planned in Russia — registration is currently open for participants in the tournament, which will be held in a "6 vs 6" format.
