Take-Two has updated the release window for Judas, Ken Levine's new game, creator of BioShock and System Shock. According to the latest financial report, the release is now expected only in the fiscal period 2028-2029.

Ken Levine is considered one of the most famous figures in the gaming industry. He was behind projects such as System Shock, BioShock, and Thief: The Dark Project — games that significantly influenced the development of narrative and game design in their time.

However, after the release of BioShock Infinite, the developer has been going through a difficult period. In 2014, Levine closed Irrational Games and founded a new studio, Ghost Story Games, which has been working on Judas for many years.

Now it has become known that the project is still far from release. According to Take-Two, the game is expected to be released in the fiscal period 2028–2029. This means that the release could take place between April 2027 and March 2029.

Given such a timeline, doubts have already emerged online as to whether Judas will be able to maintain audience interest so many years after BioShock Infinite's release.
