Tekken 8 to Get a Crossover with "Baki the Grappler"
Tekken Project studio has officially confirmed a guest character for Tekken 8's third season. Yujiro Hanma from "Baki" - one of the most famous anime fighters and the main antagonist of the series - will be added to the game.
The announcement of the new character took place during the Combo Breaker tournament. The developers had previously promised that the third year of Tekken 8 support would conclude with a crossover featuring a character from another universe, but few expected to see a hero from "Baki".
Yujiro Hanma is considered the strongest fighter in the original work's world. In Tekken 8, he will appear as a fully playable character.
The reveal of the new fighter took place before the matches of the tournament's top eight esports players. The character's release is scheduled for early 2027.
