During the financial report, Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff announced that the company plans to release six remakes and remasters in fiscal years 2028 and 2029. This is separate from the seven sequels and three projects based on entirely new intellectual property that are already in development.
Among the most likely projects, fans immediately recalled Max Payne and Max Payne 2 – a re-imagining of the cult shooters, which Remedy Entertainment is working on in collaboration with Rockstar Games. The release of new versions of Red Dead Redemption on additional platforms is also not excluded.
In addition, players once again started talking about a possible Red Dead Redemption 2 remaster, rumors of which have been circulating for several years. While there are no official confirmations yet, Take-Two's statement only fueled audience interest.
