Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno has once again fueled interest in the mysterious Project M – a presumed horror game for Nintendo Switch 2. On his LinkedIn page, the studio head asked his followers, "What can Nintendo Switch 2 do for horror games that PC, PlayStation, or Xbox cannot?" He specifically emphasized that he was not talking about "bare teraflops" or graphics.

"I'm more interested in how the platform itself can influence the design of the gameplay experience: immersion, tension, player behavior, portability, console features, controllers, the feeling of 'closeness' with the game, or even completely different approaches to creating atmosphere. How would you like to see horror designed here?

Babieno noted that Nintendo platforms often inspire design decisions that wouldn't be adopted elsewhere:

And honestly, that's what excites me the most. I'm not asking how to make horror more casual or 'safe.' Quite the opposite – how to create something unique 'in the Nintendo style' while remaining a dark, unsettling, and uncompromising horror."

At the end of his address, Babieno stated that he already has "his own thoughts," but he is interested in hearing users' opinions:

"Of course, there's always a chance we're already working on something similar, so if you're afraid to share your idea publicly… perhaps it's best to keep the best ones to yourself."

Recall that Project M is being developed by Bloober Team's subsidiary studio, Broken Mirror Games. The project was announced back in 2024, and in late 2025, Babieno stated that the game "offers a bold twist – one that has not yet been seen in horror." At that time, he promised to share details "very soon."
