Pre-order for "Butterfly Effect: Alter Ego" has started - a tabletop adventure in the spirit of "The Boys" and "Groundhog Day"

This year, users from Russia who enjoyed the game Dispatch, the series "The Boys", and the movie "Groundhog Day" will be able to personally experience the tabletop project "Butterfly Effect: Alter Ego". Together with a supervillain, they will have to constantly die and try to break the time loop.

The publishing house "Fabrika Igr" has opened pre-orders for "Butterfly Effect: Alter Ego" – a cooperative tabletop adventure for 1–6 players. Currently, this project can be purchased for 1590 rubles.

The game "Butterfly Effect: Alter Ego" tells the story of William Brown, who is an ordinary office clerk by day and a supervillain by night. He managed to get stuck in a time loop in a world where superhero activities are forbidden.

Participants will have to travel through time and make important decisions. The essence of the mechanics is simple: the character will die quite often in various, sometimes comical, but also tragic ways. Each death is not a defeat, but a step forward. With each new loop, the player accumulates knowledge, becomes stronger, and discovers new paths.

The main goal: to figure out how the villain is involved in the current events, break the loop, and reach one of seven unique endings. This game, according to the publisher, is intended for fans of "The Boys", "Groundhog Day", "Dispatch", and everyone who believes that any decision can change everything.

The estimated delivery time for the board game is September – October 2026. By the way, "Butterfly Effect" is a series of games: the authors have already prepared three storylines, the first of which is "Alter Ego", the second was shown quite recently – it will be about a haunted mansion. "Fabrika Igr" plans to develop this series of games in Russian and hopes for the support of gamers.
