Yerba Buena, a puzzle-platformer from Mad About Pandas studio, has been released. Along with the launch, the developers published a release trailer and made a demo version of the project available.

The game takes place in an abandoned virtual space resembling a surreal version of 1970s San Francisco. The main character, Barb, is an ordinary girl and former NPC who is the only one capable of saving the metropolis from destruction due to a mysterious digital glitch. She will be assisted by friends and a biker gang with superpowers.

In Yerba Buena, the heroine uses an "oscillator." This device allows her to scan the physical properties or trajectory of one object and transfer them to another using a "copy-paste" principle.

For example, the player can copy the elasticity of a trampoline and transfer it to a car, turning it into a springboard, or copy the movement trajectory of a neon hotel sign to make a static balcony move. The developers emphasize that most puzzles in the game are improvisational and do not have a single correct solution.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
