On May 27, the CD Projekt RED team had to reveal information about the development of a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – a leak occurred in the studio's launcher. The new DLC was named Songs of the Past.
We planned to talk about this tomorrow during REDstreams, but, let's just say, we found something in REDLauncher that we didn't expect ourselves. The law of surprise!
Currently, CDPR does not sell its games in Russia, and the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 did not have Russian voice acting. Users began to express the opinion that a full Russian localization would not be prepared for the DLC for The Witcher 3 either.
The administrator of the CD Projekt RED Telegram channel noticed the discussion about potential DLC localization and published the following comment:
Friends, I understand your interest in the topic of localization, but at this stage, we are not sharing any information about available translations in our upcoming projects.
The authors of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt plan to reveal details of the Songs of the Past expansion in the summer, and its release is expected next year. It seems that investors are not thrilled with such a long wait.
