Bungie has announced a week of free access to Marathon. The promotion will run from June 2 to June 9 on all available platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The start of the promotion coincides with the launch of the second season, which will begin with a full seasonal progress reset and inventory wipe. This will allow newcomers and veterans to jump into the game on equal terms and experience the “magic of the first week” together.
All progress earned during the free days will be saved, and the game itself will be discounted during this period.
Recall that Bungie recently detailed what to expect from the second season: a dark zone called “Night Swamp,” a new faction, a fresh Runner shell called “Guardian,” and much more will be added to the game.
