The cooperative horror game Escape the Backrooms is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Escape the Backrooms initially launched in early access on PC via Steam on August 11, 2022, with the full release on October 23, 2025.
Escape the Backrooms is based on the popular internet legend of the "backrooms" – an endless labyrinth of eerily familiar rooms. Players must explore over 30 unique levels, each offering its own way out while avoiding deadly creatures.
The game can be played solo or in co-op with up to four players. Each team member must survive and find an exit, otherwise the escape will fail.
