Recently, the developer of the speed typing simulator Final Sentence published an announcement on Steam, urging users to temporarily refrain from purchasing the game.
"I want to make a small announcement about the upcoming sale so that those who haven't bought the game yet can save a couple of bucks for coffee or a can of compressed air for their keyboard. Seriously, this thing is worth buying to clean years of dust and food crumbs from your keys."
One user noticed the appeal, took a screenshot, and posted it on Reddit with the caption: "This is the cutest thing I've seen on Steam." The post quickly went viral and garnered over 34,000 likes.
Skeptics in the comments noted that this could be a clever marketing ploy. Well, at least the developer has already managed to draw attention to the project. So far, this has not affected the online metrics, but the situation may change after the discount starts.
Along with the sale, Final Sentence will receive an update with real-time leaderboards, Steam cards, and smarter bots. The developer hopes that the promotion will help attract a new audience: currently, the game is on the wishlists of 350,000 people.
