The Remake of the End of the Greatest RPG of All Time, an indie puzzle game with an unusual title designed to confuse search algorithms, has been released on Steam.
Despite its title, this is not a remake of a great RPG, nor is it a great RPG itself. The developers describe the project as a deductive puzzle game set in the final hour of a lost, but in reality non-existent, 90s JRPG.
To reach the finale and defeat the final boss, players will not so much participate in a classic adventure as explore the mythology surrounding it: reading a manual with other people's notes, listening to developer comments, and watching fragments of an "unreleased amateur documentary."
