It seems Ubisoft once again failed to keep one of its upcoming announcements a secret. A page for the unannounced Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition prematurely appeared in the Microsoft Store and was then quickly removed. It had a placeholder price of $1999.99.
Despite the quick reaction from the administration, players managed to save the description of the updated version of the classic 2011 platformer. According to the leak, the remaster will offer 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, modern QoL improvements, and local co-op for up to four players.
Additionally, 60 hidden relics will be added to the game, and progress on collecting them can be tracked in the Snoring Tree. Previously, this feature was exclusive to the portable version for PS Vita.
Based on previous information, Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition is being prepared for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The official announcement is expected in the coming days — most likely at State of Play, where the remake of Rayman Legends Retold should also be presented.
