Only a few days remain until the release of Gothic 1 Remake. Alkimia Interactive studio has published the official global launch map and announced exactly when the long-awaited remake of the cult role-playing game will become available in different regions of the planet.
For players from Russia, the official launch is scheduled for 8:00 PM Moscow time on June 5. Users from other time zones can check the image provided by the developers.
The events of Gothic 1 Remake will once again unfold in the kingdom of Myrtana. After a failed experiment by mages, a protective barrier turned the Khorinis mines into a giant prison, where the prisoners themselves seized power. The story will center on a nameless convict who must survive among three warring factions and change the fate of the entire Colony.
The remake will retain the key features of the original, including freedom of exploration, a faction system, and a living world with its own daily routine for each character. At the same time, the developers have reworked the combat system, expanded quests, added new activities for NPCs, updated many locations, and increased the number of events in the world.
Gothic 1 Remake will be released on June 5, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
