Level-5 and Aiming, as part of the Inazuma Eleven: Grand Strategy Showcase presentation, announced the mobile tactical game Inazuma Eleven: Cross. The project is being developed for iOS and Android, and its full release will take place on June 9.

Unlike the usual installments of the franchise, Inazuma Eleven: Cross will be a football management simulator. Players will take on the role of a coach: instead of directly controlling individual footballers during a match, they will need to manage the entire team, develop its characteristics, and work out tactics. The storyline will be completely original, and the main character will be a new character named Yo Shiosawa.

At the same time, the creators emphasized that the connection between the mobile novelty and the console Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be limited: the transfer of characters from Victory Road to Cross is not provided.

Fans of the main series can also expect content. On June 11, the fifth major free update, New Kick-Off, will be released for Victory Road. It will feature new players, a "synergy" system with team buffs under certain conditions, and another scenario dedicated to Destin Billows.
