CD Projekt RED recently held a special stream to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Blood and Wine DLC, and also announced a new expansion. Songs of the Past is currently being developed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
On May 31, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine turned 10 years old, and on this day, the developers posted a message to the community on social media, as well as unveiled a celebratory poster:
10 years ago, we journeyed to the fairytale Toussaint, a land of wine and love. There, amidst picturesque landscapes imbued with knightly valor and honor, we took on a new contract and encountered monstrous evil. Let us together open a barrel of Sangreal from the personal reserves of the esteemed Duchess Anna Henrietta and raise a glass to Blood and Wine.
On the CD Projekt RED Telegram channel, another version of the poster was published — with text in Russian:
The release of The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past expansion is expected in 2027, and this summer CD Projekt RED plans to reveal more about the project. It is already known that in terms of scale, it will be comparable to Blood and Wine.
