Minecraft Developers Showcase New Dappled Forest Biome and Wool Stairs

Minecraft developers recently showcased the summer update Chaos Cubed and also released a teaser for the next update, which is also expected to be released this year. During a special Minecraft Live stream, the developers revealed some plans.

With this update, a new biome called Dappled Forest will be added to Minecraft – it's a forest biome that will feature red bushes and poplars.

While exploring the Dappled Forest, players will be able to find new objects – abandoned camps.

Also, Minecraft players will be able to build wool stairs. Wool can be dyed, so stairs can consist of multi-colored blocks.

Mojang Studios has not yet announced the release date for this Minecraft update. It is assumed that the list of new features will not be limited to one biome and wool stairs, but the developers have not yet published additional teasers.

In a few weeks, the Minecraft: Chaos Cubed update will be released, which will add a cave biome, a mob, and more to the game. Some players will be able to explore the fresh content in a stylish cape (codes for which are already actively being sold on the black market).
