Warner Bros. Reveals New Title and First Look at Kirsten Dunst as Alex in "A Minecraft Movie" Sequel

Warner Bros. has officially revealed the title of the "A Minecraft Movie" sequel. The sequel will be released under the title "A Minecraft Movie Squared." Along with the announcement, the studio released the first official still, featuring Steve, played by Jack Black, and Alex, played by Kirsten Dunst.

Filming for the movie began in mid-May. Jared Hess, who directed the first part, is once again directing the sequel. Hess himself and Chris Galletta are writing the screenplay. In addition to Black and Dunst, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Coolidge, Matt Berry, Sebastian Hansen, and Emma Myers will return to their roles in the sequel. Details of the new film's plot are currently being kept under wraps.
