The publisher 4ies (4Games) has kept its promise and opened pre-orders for the Russian version of the board game "Gettysburg: The First Day," designed for 1-2 players.

Currently, it can be purchased for 4994 rubles, and a set of five boxes for 22,220 rubles. This board game is selling out quite quickly; it's possible that all copies will be sold out by the end of the day.

"Gettysburg: The First Day" is the first officially localized wargame dedicated to the American Civil War, and at the same time, the first wargame in Russian from the Blind Swords series.

In the project, gamers will don the uniform of either the commander of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia — General Robert Lee, or the commander of the Union Army of the Potomac — General George Meade. Players will clash their forces in one of the most famous battles of the war — the Battle of Gettysburg.

By playing out individual scenarios (episodes of this battle) or the entire day of the battle, users will control brigades, trying to hold their positions or break through enemy defenses and force the opponent to retreat.

The pre-order campaign has goals with bonuses for participants. 200 boxes sold — a printed historical reference about the Battle of Gettysburg with game commentary by Daniyar Yambulatov. An electronic version of the reference will be received by all pre-order participants regardless of the outcome.

300 boxes sold — a fabric pouch for token activation. 400 boxes sold — an alternative token mechanic option: a set with illustrations on cards. 500 boxes sold — custom dice. The estimated delivery time for "Gettysburg: The First Day" to the warehouse is the first quarter of 2027.
