The game will be released on PC and consoles in October.

During the State of Play presentation, Rayman Legends Retold was announced – a reimagined version of the cult platformer, set to be released on October 1st. The developers call the project not a remaster, but a complete reinterpretation of the original game with an updated story, new content, and modern visual execution.

One of the main innovations will be the transition to a full 3D presentation. The creators promise revamped graphics, dynamic camera work, and more cinematic scenes, which should make the adventure more spectacular and immerse players deeper into the action. The Snowdrop engine is responsible for the technical side, and its capabilities have allowed for an expansion of the series' visual style.

Changes have also affected the sound design. Composers Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope have prepared an expanded soundtrack, and for the first time in the franchise's history, characters will receive full voice acting. In addition, the game will offer updated gameplay, a set of redesigned classic levels, a new mysterious area to explore, and four musical missions where the player's actions must match the rhythm of the composition.
