2K released another update for WWE 2K26, which brought a very unusual roster addition. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick was unexpectedly added to the list of available fighters.
Now, the head of the publishing house, which owns franchises such as WWE 2K and Grand Theft Auto, is available as a full-fledged playable character. Unique commentator comments have even been recorded for him, and Frank Sinatra's famous song "My Way" is used as his entrance theme.
Players can use Zelnick in almost all WWE 2K26 modes. This means that the Take-Two CEO can be sent into battle in a Hell in a Cell arena, locked in a coffin during special matches, or subjected to any other spectacular wrestling challenges provided by the game.
However, the developers introduced several restrictions. The character cannot be edited using the built-in fighter editor, and his music theme cannot be assigned to other wrestlers. However, fans already assume that modders will surely find ways to expand the possibilities of using Zelnick's model on PC.
The appearance of the Take-Two CEO in the roster caused bewilderment among part of the community. Many players do not understand why the developers decided to add him specifically to the game.
