"Don't drop the soap in the shower": The real Michael from GTA V got his abuser jailed
The "prankster" sent police to the actor's home, and then they came for him.
Actor Ned Luke, known to many gamers for his role as Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto V, hosts live streams. Some "pranksters" engage in swatting — reporting a fabricated crime to the police so that a SWAT team arrives at his home.
The actor's home has been stormed several times. Such pranks did not go unpunished for at least one humorist. Last year, the actor already mentioned that the court found one person guilty of swatting, and now additional details of the case have become known.
One of those involved in the swatting incidents was sentenced to four years in prison. It seems this is just the beginning of a campaign to jail such "pranksters."
The actor spoke out on social media:
Don't drop the soap in the shower, *******… You won't be swatting anyone else anytime soon… and those he snitched on will also be coming soon.
Ned Luke made it clear that this "jailing" could be one of many. Law enforcement agencies continue to investigate, and in the future, other "pranksters" will go to prison following this person who turned in his accomplices.
